On the other side of him is the couch playcage where he does his tricks and stays with me during dinner. He gets rat-safe treats for his tricks like peas, pieces of bread crouton, corn, pasta, etc. And he doesn't always have to do a trick to get a treat
The playcage lid is always open and the cage is connected to the main cage (a Savic Royal Suite Double 95) with a rain gutter so that Snoopy can decide when he wants to drop by for treats and cuddles or leave when he had enough of me or when he is full
Sometimes he rather stores his treats at the main cage instead of eating them right away.

Snoopy is my male dumbo rat and was born on July 26th 2016.
